Bill Maher is very popular here in LA [people line up down the street to attend his weekly show on HBO]. He & Larry King seem to like each other since King has Maher on his show frequently.
Maher's disgust over Bush\Republicans has made him a folk hero
Was it? my bad.
I didn't see a note saying "pre-recorded".... when calls were taken.
I might be wrong but unless this was a special Larry King Live is always repeats on Saturday and Sundays....I did watch Maher on the show earlier in the week, never saw it tonight though.

For political comic relief, I do love Jon Stewart too.
Bill Maher is very much "liberal democrat" and when he's on a serious note, he's total common sense to me. Should he come to the city of Buffalo (learn our politicians' something about free thinking) I'd pay the price to see him. Can't afford to fly to LA though.
Bill Maher is right on about 95% of the time. He's way wrong on Israel and a few smaller matters, but I'd still rather vote for him for President than the choices we have at the moment.
I like Bill too. I watched some of it and he is not impressed with Obama... infact he said he was disappointed in him. He said that he is getting too cozy with the republicans and that he is just like all the rest and nothing new. He said he thinks he made a mistake by not selecting Hillary because the party needed the excitement and toughness that she could offer.
