Bill Clinton will skip Barack Obama's acceptance of the Democratic nomination tomorrow night - a move likely to raise tensions the party has worked hard to soothe at its convention in Denver this week.
Many rank-and-file Hillary Clinton supporters said they would leave town after her speech last night. According to a Washington Post-ABC News poll, 42% of Clinton voters say they are "solidly behind" Obama...while another 20% say they plan to vote for the Republican nominee, John McCain.

Thats 20% of supporters who were voting for her just because she was a woman and didn't give a flying f about the issues. They don't care about Hillary's policies which will be lost with McCain.
Has anyone considered the idea that it might be the wish of the Democratic National Committee that former Pres Clinton does not attend? Maybe they want the focus on Obama and are concerned that he may cloud the focus?
I'm sure if Pres Clinton was wanted there, he would be there.
And watching him during Senator Clinton's speech last night I saw love and pride. He didn't look angry at all. In fact, I've been watching Clinton since 1991 and last night was the first time I saw heartfelt evidence that he really does love his wife. His face was an open book of emotion.

Excluding him wouldn't be much of a show concerning party unity.

Was he biting his lip? I love when he does that.
The guy is as phony as the day is long. He played so many Americans like a fiddle for eight years, and it looks like it still works on some folks.
