Palin also rejected the closing of an unprofitable state run dairy company. Along with McCain's support for Fannie/Freddie bailouts, only a mental patient would consider her truly conservative.

Palin is just another liberal RINO neo-con who happens to oppose abortion.

She has experience, has a difficult job and is raising 5 kids and the rcent one has down syndrome....wow and still working in a job that is mostly done by man...so she must have qualities that many of us don't have.

I agree. Also all I keep hearing is that this will pull over Hillary voters. Are staunch pro-choice Hillary voters going to be won over by her?

IMo McCain made a good choice, althoug I didn't expect it, I'm all for it and she is very smart and proven to stand up against many things.

Raising children makes her experienced to be POTUS? If that's the case everybody's mother should have been in the running for the VP slot...give me a break.

ATTRACTIVE SELF MADE FEMALE, pro-life, hunter, NRA member, wants to drill in Alaska! Now if she would only say she likes a cold beer with dinner we may have a landslide here for McCAIN.

I'll be honest...I find it incredibly hard to believe that a 70-something year old white guy would, on his own, choose a female for his right hand. Obviously his team suggested it, and I don't think he's really for it to be honest.
