Well im voting for Obama and have said over and over everyone should leave them alone. Yet ANOTHER thread stared talking about her. Why do you not let this go, she and the babies father should deal with this without everyone throwing in their opinion.

What you say makes perfect, logical sense. However this is American politics were are talking about here. You know, the same country that has only elected WASPs (with the exception of JFK) into our highest office?

The problem here is the hypocrisy and the double standard. Heck, people made a furor over things that Michelle Obama didn't even do (remember the whole "Whitey Tape" ordeal?) so now that the tables are turned, we're just a bunch of big old meanies?

Yeah.....

And oh, Palin definitely has issues regarding her job capabilities....but most Americans do not have the desire or background to talk about the "real issues".

So what they do not stand on a soap box and tell everyone how to run their private lives! and then do the opposite!!!

Michelle obama had a bad thing with the whitey rumor, its true. But does that explain the palin adopted her dd downs baby rumor? That was ugly and truly beyond the pale.

I certainly hope some of yall never have a loved one who decides to have children out of wedlock (with the divorce rates what they are, what good is a marriage these days, anyway?) or who decide to stay home with their children. I can assure you, an at home mother has far much to do than sitting around popping bon-bons. Some of these comments are just plain hateful, disrespectful, and rude.

And what good does spewing such trash do? Does it make your candidate any more likable than the other because you sit and name-call the other side? Put them down for choices that were out of their control?

And what the hell makes you folks think having a child out of wedlock makes for a bad parent? Cause I can assure you, my 4.5 year old "out of wedlock baby" is doing damn fine in the world right now, and she's no worse off than her 1.5 year old "in wedlock baby" sister.

And ANOTHER thing, since I'm ranting right now ... Not everybody that isn't republican is pro-choice/pro-abortion, and not everyone that's republican is pro-life/anti-abortion. So knock it off with the "baby-killers" crap, cause that "fellow Republican" you think so highly of could very well be pro-abortion and you not even know it.

Bristol Palin's pregnant? So the f--- what!? So is a ridiculous amount of other teenagers. Know the difference? Their momma's aint putting them in the spotlight to progress their political career "Look! We're so pro-life that we're going to embarass the tee total **** out of our teenage daughter nationally to prove it." Now there's some fan-freakin-tastic parenting. But HEY - at least they're married, right?

I really should stay out of the forum

*sigh* Its not about blasting Bristol for being pregnant.

Its about her mother's abstinence-only (that is, teach no birth control at all) policies and how her mother threw her out to the wolves to save her own name. Poor girl.

So what. Exactly what proof do you have that Obama's parents were NOT married? In our society the accuser generally has the burden of proof. Where are you from?

Actually the media and Palin has made Palin's daughter an issue. The majority of citizens while concerned with Palin's qualities are far from condemning her daughter. Examining Troopergate and some of her actions is disturbing to non-partisan thinkers also, and is being investigated. A reasonable person need not enter the personal family arena to have many questions that deserve truthful answers concerning Palin.

No, they are condemning her hypocrisy. Along with the rest of the republican party.

You aren't posting this from your laptop in a airport bathroom by chance are you?

Quoted for truth.

Nobody is condemning her daughter. The candidate is Sarah Palin, not Bristol Palin. Sarah Palin, the VP nominee, is using her own Down Syndrome infant and her daughter's pregnancy as political props to reinforce that she's "pro-life" and "pro-family" (never mind that she's about to leave them for Washington) and willingly thrusting them into the spotlight in hopes of being attacked so she can act like they're the bad guys. This was calculated, and for that, she's worse than a bad candidate - she's a sorry human being.
