She put it on Ebay and it wasn't sold....she never said it was on Ebay and Ebay sold it, but it was sold in another way and they made money on it instead of wasting more money.

Good Job Sarah!!

When is Al Gore selling his energy wasting plane, while he can fly in a different way and by being the hypocrit he is, telling us the average people to cut down on our energy spending, while he uses in a year what a town spends!

You really are parsing words.....but I have heard her say that she sold it on Ebay and John McCain add, isnt that wonderful my friends....she sold it on ebay and made a profit. (that crack was followed by the strained grimace that is passing for a smile these days.)

In fact she sold it to a Republican political contributor at less than cost; they also don't mention that the primary use of the jet was to fly prisoners to an out of state facility, saving tax payers money.

She lied. She said she sold the plane on Ebay which was a lie. She sold it off line to a donor at a loss.

She said "I put it on Ebay"...that was shown over and over!

Not it isn't a duplicate thread...the other one said she lied...which is beside the truth!

Hello!! Chapter 3 in the GOP Handbook- It's okay to lie, mislead or misrepresent the truth if it advances the party/candidate. In fact, it's encouraged. Also known as Rovenating.

she was MISLEADING.
She didn't technically lie, but she led you to believe that she sold it on ebay when she, in fact, hired a broker when the plane wouldn't sell. I think its not preferable to hear someone be misleading, but this is small potatoes to her larger flaws.

She lied and intentionally misled people that she sold it on ebay and for a profit. The plane sold for less then the asking price and was sold to a private buyer not related to ebay.

Who cares?

Geez, people. If stuff like this is all you can find to use against her, then she must be a pretty damn good choice.

The only legitimate argument I've seen used against Palin is pointing out her relatively short stint as governor. The Dems can't harp on that too much though, because doing it highlights their presidential candidate's lack of experience.
