I say we all call a truce that day on this board out of remembrance for that tragic day. After all, regardless of our differences, we are all Americans and we were/are heartbroken over those events.

My suggestion would be that we only make posts that help us look to ways to find common ground b/t the 2 parties...after all, we'll all still be here after the new POTUS takes office...so better to work together to make the best of it regardless of who wins.
With all due respect for those of 9/11 with friends and personal family members, I can’t help but wonder why the republicans brought this issue out at the convention. I also wonder how many have forgotten who’s party was on watch that day for the nations safety and security? It might not have become an issue at this time if the NRC hadn’t brought film clips out for view. This has become their topic of choice maybe to create the fear propaganda again, maybe to gain some additional votes, but don’t forget who was Commander-In-Chief at that time, and don’t forget it was this NRC that brought the issue up. The topic isn’t going away after they made it a political issue!

We don't WANT the topic to go away! Forget history and it may repeat itself.

Great job, everybody. Glad we can all remember what's important.
