Apparently the only way McCain even has a chance is to try to be like Obama. The only problem is that the man is 72 years old, he has been in Washington for over 25 years and in that time has not demonstrated change. On top of that, he is head of the party that got our country in this mess in the first place and he has supported and voted with Bush nearly 100% of the time. Then the republicans accuse Obama as being a celebrity when they have made the running mate in their party a celebrity which by the way isnt the one running for president. They criticized Obama for just giving speeches but now all of a sudden Palin gives one speech and shes qaulified to be a heartbeat away from commander in chief. McCain has changed his message several times and usually thats a sign that a campaign is in trouble as we saw with Hillary Clinton. Obama has consistanly stayed on message since day one and support has never waivered. Will Americans buy McCain as being a change agent? I seriously doubt it. He does better just sticking with his experience message. Bottom line, there is just way too much support behind Obama. Its more than an election, there is a movement behind Obama and what he has planned for our country. People are angry with what has happen to our country under republican leadership and when they are angry, they come out to the polls in droves. The past two elections have been close. But Obama has helped register millions of new voters who never voted before. The independents and women are leaning towards Obama. Combine that with the millions of new voters and we have a democratic victory in November!

you are so delusional If we had the election today based on the electoral map, Obama would win. The tide is not going to turn in just 60 days. It hasnt turned in 6 months for McCain. If you think Palin is going to do it think again.

I agree with Palin. Obama uses "change" to promote his career, where Mccain uses career to promote change. Big difference.

After McCain's 25 plus years in the senate and staunch support for George Bush...I dont see the difference

Default McCain tries to steal Obama's message for Change

The GOP message is crystal clear:

John McCain: more of the same.

Hardcore Dubyites = McCainiacs

Well my question is:

How can he say he's the man for change when he voted with Bush 95% of the time? I'm confused.

It's a good line, but it's not supported by reality. Both are career politicians. McCain has had 25+ years to promote change, but I haven't seen any real results from him. To infer that Obama is ambitious and McCain isn't is ridiculous. McCain has been running for president for 12 years. All politicians are ambitious.
