The threads seem to be getting increasingly nasty at the minute. How's about we try something new. Everyone say something nice about each candidate - even those from the opposing side. Deosn't have to be something big, doesn't have to be a long list for your candidate and then one thing for the opposing side. Just one nice thing about each of them. After all, we really don't know who we are going to end up with.

I'll start:

Obama: Great role model for young, black men.

Biden: Has a lot of sorely needed foreign policy experience and a tough, no nonsense approach.

McCain: Was very brave in refusing to be let out of the POW camp early, and in returning back to Vietnam after the war to help US/ Vietnamese relations.

Palin: Has insured that most Republicans will never again be able to claim that a woman's place is in the home without sounding very obviosly hypocritical. All this discussion about the baby may actually just cement a whole new era of women's rights because it has really made EVERYONE discuss the issues openly and say what they really think. A good thing on the whole I believe.
