All the talk here about Obama raising $8M after the announce of Palin being McCains' VP pick has me laughing because McCain just raised twice as much

Yeah, I remember when the Clinton's said they raised 10 million dollars in one night. when the final reports came out she didn't even come close. We'll see next month what they really did.

McCain raised $17M in two days during his own convention.

Obama raised $8M in one day during his opponent's convention.

See the difference?

After that speech people realized that they needed to A) buy better speech writers, B) buy Mccain a personality and C) fund Cindy Mccain's wardrobe needs for the next few months.

Obama sent emails and text messages to everyone on his list asking them to donate to the Red Cross. I'll try to find the numbers to see what they raised.

I find this odd then.

Didnt it take hours to get communications out to all of his supporters because of the complexity of sending to so many people?

If that was true, then how can you cite his same approach for being responsible for 15min worth of donations?

Well, the "chocolate city" was spared, so obviously Obama didn't feel it necessary.


Oh wait... I forgot, Obama really doesn't have a record of change or support for blacks in his own Congressional district, so why would he care about NOLA, even if it is a chocolate city?
