I don't have sources, yet in front of me, however if you seriously follow the news, then you should have a grasp on the numbers.
About 70% of the people think that the country is heading in the wrong direction. About the same number disapprove (or have no favorable opinion) of George Bush. Cheney has an approval rating of not even 15%.
John McCain votes with Bush 90% of the time. Obama finally has an ad that actually quotes McCain saying such.
Why the hell is McCain not losing by at least 10 points?
This is BS. America wake up. This is not American Idol, this is a race of POTUS, and you're thinking about putting Palin in the excutive branch??
Honestly, I can only think that too many white Americans are drawing the line about electing a man who happens to be black president. That's the only real reason that I can think of. There may be a few trivial issues, but again the numbers I listed at the top of this point, means that the closeness of this does not make sense. Why would America, collectively speaking, want to continue at least 90% of these policies that 70% of the people indirectly say they don't like?
I hope I'm wrong. The registration and participation in the primaries on the Dem side, was way way more this year, than it was on the Rep. side, so that may be similiar in turnout come 11/5. (or 4).
Come folks, McCain is bad enough (he would have been ok if he was the McCain of 2000), but Palin is Bush in a skirt.

No answers, so I thought I'd try again to see if someone, particulary for McCain, would be willing to explain the first two paragraphs of my post.

This country is full of ignorant people. A lot of these people are still choosing their candidates based on September 11th, 2001, they still have not got over it and in their twisted minds, Mc Cain will provide them with that false sense of security they are looking for because he was a POW about 30 years ago. LOL, logic, intelligence and common sense are very scarce these days

Your assuming that those who think that the country is headed in the wrong country are ignorant, and all anti "Bush".. Many think we're headed in the wrong country because they dont approve of the number of increasing socialistic programs that we have, and many more being proposed. Your also ignoring that many americans dont agree with Code Pink, the gay movement, and various other "Democratic" reasons.

Just because someone says they dont like the way the country is headed, it doesnt mean that they think it should move left..

And, the more I hear garbage like "Palin is Bush in a skirt" and other non-sense comments, the more I like the McCain/Palin ticket.

I know.. crazy to ever think that someone could attack the WTC and bring it down, killing thousands of americans. Thank god we'll never see that happen again ha?

p.s. I like how Democrats like to lump all Republicans together, as if everyone who votes for McCain is worried about terrorists.. There couldnt possibly be any other reason, could there?

It's because of the NWO. Same game, different players.... an ongoing nightmare, at least since 9/11. It doesn't matter if we elect McCain or Obama, the country is screwed.
