I have been listening to the McCain speeches where he vows to reprimand and try to embarrass our representatives if they do not behave the way he wants. Since no President is King, I would hope that the President would execute the will of the people as represented in the Congress, unless it was an absolutely egregious bill. I do not see the virtue in his promising to trump the people at every turn. Hopefully we will have both a Democratic Admin and strong congress. I know there will howls, but obviously, Washington is not working as it is. McCain reminds us every day that we have voted in scoundrels and thieves.
