Action such as this caused Republican Senator Thad Cochran's, R-Miss, to express his reaction to the idea of McCain being president as follows:
"The thought of (McCain) being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."

Is this true???? That's pretty disturbing if it is!

So much for the liberal media, eh.
When Tim Russert asked McCain about Cochran's comments, McCain just shrugs it off: "I feel strongly about issues." McCain goes on to say that maybe Cochran, who was supporting Romney, was mad about McCain calling him out on pork-barrel spending. Of course, that didn't stop Cochran from co-sponsoring the campaign finance bill, so I doubt he had hard feelings enough to go out and critique McCain like this for the hell of it. Plus, McCain himself says in the video that Cochran makes no apologies for getting money for his home state and why would he if he isn't running for national office.
Is the distinction between the relationship we have with the European Nations that have Americans based there versus the reality of occupying the Middle East, being made on a level playing field? Clearly there are distinct differences in policy, environment and security that challenge the wisdom of long term occupation in the middle east, particularly if one accepts the premise that the neighboring Countries opinions do not matter.
Senator McCain clearly is knowledgeable about foreign policy and military matters. I may not agree with his vision of what we should do next, but he is qualified to speak on these matters. Senator Obama may not have as lengthy a tenure as the Senator from Arizona, but it is disingenuous to claim he has no experience in the arena of foreign policy. Senator Biden shores up the intimate long term historical variables that the Senator should understand when making his decisions; however, the Cabinet does this for all Presidents and there's no reason to believe this will be different for either candidate should he become President.
Smacking around a Sandinista counts as a plus in my book.
Meeting someone under the guise of diplomacy and then physically attacking someone during talks is NOT HONORABLE. But if that doesn't bother you, so be it.
And lets not forget McCain spent 5 years of his life in a "Foreign" country bieng tortured daily. Obama? Spent 5 minutes playing B Ball as a photo op last month....Does that clarify things?

How does 5 years in a prison cell give you any foreign experience? It would warp your mind or insert hatred but give you foreign experience...NEVER. Lets unlock some cells and then we should have all the experience we need.
Extensive world travel to 70+ countries, personal relationships with world leaders and would be world leaders, deep understanding of internal politics of regions and countries of the world important to America's interests, ranking member of Senate Armed Services Committee, consistently superior judgment vis a vis Iraq. And by the way, he has a 'brown' child whom he adopted.
"Superior judgment" on Iraq: Laughable.
Thinking, and saying, "Czechoslovakia" repeatedly a decade after it ceased to exist.
As the original poster stated, he gets Shia/Sunni constantly mixed up. His bumbling is legendary.
And to back him up he picked Sarah Palin.
This could be the most inept ticket since...............Bush/Cheney

Guess who's in power today? The Sandinistas.
Reagan's arming of death squads in that country is well remembered
