Freddie Mac paid 15K a month to McCain aide's firm - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080924/ap_on_el_pr/mccain_freddie_mac - broken link)

"The lobbying firm of John McCain's campaign manager was paid $15,000 a month for several years until last month by one of two housing companies taken over by the federal government, a person familiar with the financial arrangement said Tuesday night.

That money from Freddie Mac to the firm of Rick Davis was on top of more than $30,000 a month that went directly to Davis for five years starting in 2000.
The $30,000 a month came from both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, the other housing entity now under government control because of the crisis in the financial markets."

Again, both Freddie and Fannie are in the pockets of virtually everyone in D.C.. And I'm sure they were all the way up until last week

Another McCain misrepresentation of the facts. This has also been confirmed by Newsweek:

Why is this election even close?

If McCain and Palin win, just kiss the country's future good bye.

Extracted from left-leaning Huffington post - but if in doubt, can be easily cheked:

...On Sunday, in an interview with CNBC and The New York Times, Mr. McCain responded to a question about Mr. Davis's role in the advocacy group through 2005 by saying that his campaign manager "has had nothing to do with it since, and I'll be glad to have his record examined by anybody who wants to look at it."

I get it - the "change" he talks about is "different" set of crooks around him.

Yup, his friggin CAMPAIGN MANAGER profited from the bottom falling out on America's financial future.

Sickening, there is this guy and Phill Gramm, his chief economic adviser who calls Americans WHINERS.

Truly vile people.
