After tonight, I believe McCain will need a miracle. She's a nice lady, and she seems bright and motivated. But she does not look like she is ready to lead the nation. At times, Biden looked like a Law professor from Harvard (or at least Syracuse) debating some 10th grader that was passing Algebra II because she got to copy of her neighbor's paper. Is it over?

I thought she was from the Chamber of Commerce.

She was fabulous but you Dems aren't big enough to admit that she didn't fall on her face like you had hoped - quite the contrary! HA HA HA HA HA!!!

The standard that she had to meet was to not fall on her face? Ok, I admit she did not fall on her face. She is still an amateur.

Agree completely. She looks completely out of her league and frankly, uninformed. She clearly fails to grasp the complexities and nuances of some of the fundamental issues of our time (the credit crisis, Iraq, climate change just to name a few).

I thought it was an old and used grandpa debating Evita Peron.

It looked like she was well rehearsed, reminded me of trying to act like Sally Field.

Remember the movie "Wag the Dog"

She may ready for some office in 5 yrs but not for this election. She should of portrayed a Sigourney Weaver

I thought she was going to whip out a tray of cupcakes at any moment "Hey, everybody, the kids, Todd and I baked these up for you last night! I hope I have your vote!"

Oh please. I wasn't taking about the "standard." I was talking about how you guys have been salivating waiting for this debate, hoping she would make a total fool of herself. And quite to the contrary, she did a great job. I'm just that really pisses you off! McCain-Palin will will on Nov 4th!

Ah, the soft bigotry of low expectations.

God I love that line, thank George Bush.
