HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS to those idio...Oh, never mind. That was my Presidential candidate.

I'll bet heads were exploding at GOPAC, Republican caucus offices and campaign offices all around the country.

Where is Newt? Where is Pat Buchanan? Where are all the Reagans reincarnated? We have to stomp out this incipient welfare state. NOW!

Of course the wing nuts will fall into line. The situation has changed since last week when Obama brought this up.

McCain is now a parody of himself.

With paleo-Republicans they absolutely were. My spouse turned to me last night, upon hearing that, and said the longer this goes on the more I can't help but to wonder if the Republican party is going to split into two different parties over the next four years. I have to wonder that same thing because the party is at complete odds with itself.

If you people are talking about the 300 Billion dollars plan, that is not new money, is part of the 700 billions bailout. Is not new spending.

I'm not sure who the joke is on, the Republicans for not knowing that this was already a part of the rescue plan or all the media folks who didn't know it.

Aye, still, personally I think it sends the wrong message to the American people, which is, if you are irresponsible, we will bail you out. A message I think the left has been sending for far too long and look how well it has worked out. Spent already or not, I cringed when he said that.

Id love to vote 3rd party as there are some candidates who I think are much more conservative and balanced. Last time I did that though, we put Clinton in office. I won't do that again.

You mean all the people who took the word of the politicians and business execs pushing this plan? I bet you Bush didn't even read it.

Wait just a darn minute.. REPUBLICANS? Last I checked, true "Republicans" have criticized this plan non stop, we have not asked for a bail out. Its the Democrats crying for a plan to save "all of the poor people who have their life savings in the stock market"
