I think if the report is damning to Sarah Palin, Palin will have to be replaced. The lead investigator in the case hinted that the report will be "damaging" to gov Palin. The October surprise begins tommorrow

I hope this yields the October Surprise the majority of the people in this country have been waiting for. How do you know that the lead investigator has hinted this? Has he said something publicly?

Just saw this on the Anchorage Daily News website - Supreme Court Refuses to Block Troopergate inquiry:

Quote:
The Alaska Supreme Court today rejected an attempt by a group of six Republican legislators to shut down the Legislature's investigation of Gov. Sarah Palin.

The ruling means that Steve Branchflower, the investigator hired by the Legislative Council, will release his report as scheduled on Friday.

Whats the worse that could happen, that the report says that Palin tried to use her position to have a guy who drank in his police car and harmed a 10 year old to get fired.. Yeah, that would be so damning... NOT

It won't matter anyway. They will spin it as they want it.

I know, tell me about it. The police use a taser on some punk who deserves it and the dems scream. Try to fire a police officer who truly is abusing his position and behaving violently, and suddenly you're evil. It truly is simply politics by the dems and I do believe most people see through the BS (hence why it's been ignored for the most part).

Doesn't really matter all that much...McCain/Palin are sliding down, down, down anyway. Guess it might make the slope a bit more slippery and they hit bottom sooner.

You Republicans spin more that car rims in the hood!
This has nothing to do with him being an erratic cop (or not) he was Sarah Palin's brother in law and only AFTER he did HER SISTER bad and divorces her he is THEN FIRED!

Honestly of course I believe that Sarah P took the axe to him!
But I also don't care. I mean she has power, why not use it?

ALOT of us would've done that for our families as well!

I mean Supervisors at Wal-Mart fire people on power trips.

I see nothing wrong or ordinary with the Governor having a little power trip.

I know I would! LOL!

Looking at McCain today at the rally in Wisconsin, I'd say something substantial is about to open up. He looked positively awful and he was having a difficult time stringing his words together. It's the worst I've seen him look yet. He actually looked scared to me.
