I could call TEN people on the phone at random and ask them who they are voting for. That would be about as scientific as the "professional" polls you see on tv and in your paper. I often wonder how many of the polls are simply made up? Stop believing everything you see and read and actually use your own brain. I know that's a brain-buster of a concept, but please try.

You have no clue about the science behind polling, do you? This will give you a good start:
Amazon.com: Statistics for Dummies: Deborah Rumsey: Books

Nothing but the actual voting matters BUT these polls are a pretty good indicator of things for the dates polls are taken. McCain campaign uses them.

WRONG!!!

Look through my posts. I am voting for Obama. And as far as the McCain camp using polls...I guess that makes them right.

There is NO science in polling. It is a simple and VERY VERY flawed concept.

I love looking at numbers. When I look at a woman, I look at her numbers too.

People like the polls because that way they can say "I voted for a winner" (believe it or not some yahoos on politicalhotwire.com actually feel this way). In their eyes those that didn't vote for the "winner" were losers and basically sucked in life.

I'm gonna be a loser then... yeeehhaawww... lOl.. I'm writing in Ron Paul!! or checking the box for Chuck Baldwin. I'd rather be a loser than vote for either of those pricks the sheep like.

I have yet to meet one person who took part in any polls for this election. And I do ask a lot of people.
