Hahahahhaa.......next time don't just make claims and hope that they won't be challenged. A consultant? give me a break! Btw, I left Accenture for Bearingpoint last yr.....the last thing you wanna fool me about is consulting work.
I could point you to my accountant down the road from you in Richmond but whats the point. Keep chugging along. You'll get there someday.

Off topic, but there are lots of consultants making more than $250,000 annually.

I'm sorry perhaps you didn't connect the dots there. I said worked for Accenture before moving on to Bearinpoint. The point is i know the nature of consulting work - top to bottom. This idea that we have a bunch of consultants blogging on CD forum on daily basis is absurd go tell that to the Sarah Palins
We are certainly lucky to have so many of the top income bracket (so far 15% per the poll) joining us in our little forum, when nationwide the percentage is only 2%.
I had no idea so many "movers and shakers" spend their days here.
For simplicity, we'll just focus on the over-$250,000 group. Those reporting adjusted gross income of more than $250,000 to the IRS are projected to make up 2 percent of households next year, when the new president will take office. Those folks will earn 24.1 percent of all income, and pay 43.6 percent of all personal federal income taxes, the Tax Policy Center figures. Under either Obama or Clinton, they might pay even more.
FactCheck.org: What percentage of the U.S. population makes more than $250,000 per year? (http://www.factcheck.org/askfactcheck/what_percentage_of_the_us_population_makes.html - broken link)
I just saying i dont make that much money but i work for a business that does. If the raise taxes on them there is going to be some firing and i cant afford losing my job at this time no thank you. Obamas tax cuts on me will be nice but i am OK with what i am paying now and i don't want to lose my job so i can just save some a couple hundred dollars money.
i make less than obamas 250k cut and support mccains plan. obamas stimulus plan is a joke. i dont have any children and under mccains plan his offers better tax cuts than obama. its simple math. too bad most of poor america cant even balance a check book.
I prefer the pay as you go strategy for government spending, even if it means more taxes. I prefer that my retirement investments not be diluted by inflation due to unfunded spending and huge deficits (Middle East wars, etc.).
