The astonishing luck of Bill Ayers, unrepentant former Weather Underground revolutionary, continues unabated. Today the state of New York refused to grant parole to Kathy Boudin, another Weather Underground radical, convicted 20 years ago of second degree murder for participating in a Brink's truck robbery in which two policemen and a security guard were killed. That's bad news for Boudin, who by all accounts has been a model prisoner. But it's great news for Ayers--who, with his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, jointly raised Boudin's son--because it's bound to help Ayers sell his new memoir, Fugitive Days.
Ayers is similarly dismissive of terrorists, a group to which he claims not to belong:
Terrorists terrorize, they kill innocent civilians, while we organized and agitated. Terrorists destroy randomly, while our actions bore, we hoped, the precise stamp of a cut diamond. Terrorists intimidate, while we aimed only to educate.
Obama and Bill Ayers are not friends, have never "palled around", nor do they share the same ideas about how to govern this country. No matter how much the Republicans try to lie about this, it won't make it true.
Hey GOP, how about talking about the issues? When you beat the hate drum, all it shows is that you are out of ideas - a good reason to send you all homw from Washington this year.

How can you say that????????????
Nobama went to one of his parties at his house.
Of course their pals.
They just might be best friends!

So did many Chicago Republicans and other civic leaders - are you saying they "palled around" too? Obama was 8 years old when Ayers was doing his bad stuff but Ayers later entered the mainstream of Chicago politics and Republicans and Democrats interacted with him from time to time. To say he "palled around" is a baldface lie.
The Republicans are out of ideas and trying to incite hatred by spreading lies and half truths. You'll lose anyway and McCain's reputation will forever be tarnished. Your reign over this country is about to end and we'll then be able to clean up to horrible mess the GOP has made of it.
A special bonus for you:
Is John McCain racist? Ask Pastor Hagee « The Sable Verity (http://sableverity.wordpress.com/2008/04/27/is-john-mccain-racist-ask-pastor-hagee/ - broken link)
McCain rejected his endorsement just like Obama rejected any endorsement from Wright or Ayers, or any other kooky people. If you want to salvage any sense of honor in this campaign, try talking about the issues.
The issues are a complicated subject for the average Joe---hence, the use of the imagination. It's a lot easier to shout "terrorist", then it is to offer a reasonable answer to getting out of Iraq or finding the thugs of Wall Street.
In this election year, there is a renewed kind of terrorism: Remember Oklahoma City?
I'd love to see what you were like in the 60s?
This was a time of having to take to the streets against the government.
It was a time of great upheaval and change.
Those tactics would not be employed today.
Do you forget the the government gunned down students on university campuses?
40 year old history doesn't play in today's politics.

I see you have difficulty seperating reality from talking points
"Charlie Black declined to comment on Wright's statements, saying that McCain has said that 'these candidates cannot be held accountable for all the views of people who endorse them or people who befriend them.'"
- Media Matters, quoting Charlie Black in an interview on "Morning Joe" last spring.
