Add Montana to the list of states where they think about things.

Looks like Georgia could be the next one to go pink.

It's an interesting turn. Liberal/Progressives have allied themselves with hunters groups and conservationists in Montana. It's seen as an example of how Democrats can make inroads in these Westerns States.

If Democrats chose to take the position of keeping gun control a state issue and not federal they would always win.

I love Brian Schweitzer. He's the kind of Democrat that the party really needs to start promoting.

I like Schweitzer as well. He gave a great speech at the convention- came across as genuinely folksy as opposed to Palin's manufactured and scripted persona.

With a Democrat like him leading Montana, I would imagine that state will turn blue in the near future- hopefully in time for this election, but if not, definitely in time for 2012.

I was just playing with the RCP map- it looks like Obama can afford to lose Florida, Virginia and North Carolina and still win the election.

I would love for Florida AND Ohio to be irrelevent to the outcome this time around. Love those states, but they dont know how to run a presidential election.
