Just One Question. Why Doesn't Obama's Healthcare Bill Confront Lawyers?

Tort reform? Hmmmm....

Why don't Democrats want to offend lawyers?

Could it be because lawyers contribute millions of dollars to left wing agendas?

Maybe to make more money?

Instead of being concerned about the poor children?

Does Barack's health bill really have merit?

Most of Americans would say it doesn't.

According to a CBO report in 2005, the issue over malpractice accounted for less than 1% of health care costs. Also Tort reform does not address the underlying issue of malpractice, which are false claims. All tort reform does is cap the amounts, including capping the amounts of legit malpractice cases.

Without getting into the merits of tort reform (I suspect that, just as with being able to buy health insurance across states lines, tort reform wouldn't mean the kind of savings that people assume it would), there is no Obama healthcare bill. There are several bills in the House and Senate.
CNN has learned that the White House is quietly talking about drafting formal health care legislation after allowing Congress to work on its own for months.
