There has been alot of press about John McCain being a bit senile. Last week there was a report he went to go to the bathroom...lost his way...and was found wandering in the parking lot. They say the SS has him fitted with a leg GIS so he can't get lost.

I have often wondered myself if perhaps his mind is beginning to go. He's simply not the same guy he was in 2000 and his judgment throughout the election process has really been quite atrocious. I think concerns about this has a lot to do with why he is falling behind so badly.

He picked Palin didn't he? Absolutely. No question.
Firstly just based on his age alone he is bound to have some issues but then you add in the trauma of his imprisonment that would have to leave some scars.
I feel kind of sorry for him at times when he is on TV, he seems so out of step. Did you see in the debates, how he kept walking in front of the camera and such? Meanwhile Obama actually seemed to realize where he was and what was going on.
Intermittent senility would certainly explain McCain's pick of Palin, the use of Joe the Plumber and Tito the Builder as representatives of his campaign, the announcement of the suspension his campaign, etc..
