In view of the recent Bailout of Wall Street and its Banks (and CEO's), it seems like raising taxes on the hyper-wealthy is the only way people like me in the middle class are going to get our money back.

Now regarding your comment, I think its silly to think that Obama and his team, once elected, won't go in a analyze/grade programs that can be cut or improved.
I trust his judgment to go in with his team and get rid of the riff raff!
I dont need a sound-bite from him to feel better.
He can't even get rid of the "riff-raff" in his life (Wright, Ayers, Rezko, etc) why would I trust him to do it for the country.

Sweden has the highest effective tax rate in the Western World at 59% and has lower unemployement than the US with the lowest effective taxe rate of 30%.
Additionally, tax cutter Reagan saw unemployement levels go up after cuttiing, while tax raiser Clinton say unemployment levels go down.

So you're under the assumption the rest of the economy has no bearing on unemployment? That certainly seems apparent by your statement.
I'll get an extra 9 dollars a week from his tax plan. This is as much a single parent with one child without childcare costs. How exactly will that create substantial wealth? Even someone making minimum wage can make an extra 9 dollars a week by working 1.5 hours of overtime. I fail to see the trickle up.
I don't know you personal situation.
Maybe you need a better job.
