... but judging by the number of wild, illogical theories out there, I suspect not. Perhaps if some folks have to pay the opposing lawyers' court costs they will desist?

"A federal judge threw out a lawsuit questioning President Obama’s citizenship, criticizing the case as a waste of the court’s time. Mr. Obama has been dogged by rumors, spread on the Internet, that he is ineligible to be president because he is not a “natural born citizen” as the Constitution requires. In response last summer, his campaign posted his Hawaiian birth certificate on its Web site. But the lawsuit argued that the certificate was a fake and that Mr. Obama was actually born in his father’s homeland, Kenya. The judge, James Robertson of Federal District Court, said the case could have ended up in books “that seek to prove that the law is foolish or that America has too many lawyers with not enough to do.”

It's all they have. Have mercy on them.

I mean, we had a feast at the table of Bush for 8 years. They have a birth certificate rumor they believe because someone they work with sent them a propaganda email.

The kool-aid is powerful this time. That veil may not be lifted. Whatever befalls us will of course be Bush's fault.

Not really.

But what has befallen us, is, indeed.

Believe me with the economy collasping, Geithner's inability to staff up, etc.. there is plenty of garabage to talk about. These are scary times and with Obama at the helm even more.

....and all this withe the economy about to dissolve into oblivion.

Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner is trying to stabilize the nation's banking industry, implement a housing rescue plan and prop up a plunging stock market – all with about 18 vacant senior positions, virtually the entire upper echelon of his department.

The staff is so faceless that lobbyists have begun trading jokes about a "ghost" bureaucracy, given the many empty picture frames hanging on the department's walls.

Treasury island: Geithner's lost crew (http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20090306/pl_politico/19723 - broken link)

Okay. A logistical problem that I'm sure will be resolved.

I'm not saying he was the best selection, but let's not overreact too much.
