CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - After millions of votes, Democrats outnumber GOP « - Blogs from CNN.com

"Calculations by CNN and other news organizations indicate that many, if not most, of the early votes in more than 30 states are being cast by registered Democrats, although it's unknown who voted for which candidate."

"Of 23,298,564 total in-person and mail-in ballots in 25 states, at least 6,057,527 — or 26 percent — were cast by Democrats or Republicans, according to election officials. Of that 6 million, 57.8 percent were Democrats, and 42.2 percent were Republicans."

Of 23 million, many of them were cast by Democrats? Shocking!
And many were cast by Republicans? Ohmigod!

And... wait... this could be vital...

Of the 23 million votes, at least 6 million were by either Democrats or Republicans!!

Good thing we have CNN to tell us this stuff.

That's pretty much the result of having news 27/7. When there's nothing, you state the obvious as if it is news. Yep, dumb.

JPS, while of the three news-entertainment programs, I think CNN is as close to the middle of the road as there is but...

The day after 911, I remember Paula Zahn asking her guest this question which sealed it for me and I have refused to watch CNN with any regularity.

Paula Zahn, "In the wake of these attacks, how bad does it make you feel". This has to rank right up there with, "Do you still beat your wife"... ugh
