List of U.S. states by population density - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

and

Population by State — FactMonster.com

CA ranks #1
NY ranks #3
NJ ranks #10

CA, NJ and NY ALL in the top 10.

US States: Population and Ranking - EnchantedLearning.com

CA, NJ and NY ALL in the top 10

So perhaps YOU should get a clue.

I live in Kansas and $97,000 isn't rich here, either. I think you are the one who needs to get a clue.

He is a closet socialist. Of course it's going to migrate towards a tax structure where the more you make the more the tax will be to bring you back closer to the middle class. If you don't make as much you get tax credits....

This beauty shows his real intentions: http://www.barackobama.com/pdf/taxes...Plan_FINAL.pdf

If your a family making $75k a year with two children and one in college you get $3700 back above last year. If you do not have a child in college you will owe $300 more than last year....ie...page 3

My state income tax is 8% above $120,000 + $8750. That would put people above $250k/year under Obama's plan at 56.6% tax rate. How much you want to bet it increases if he is not impeached and is going for 8 years. This is the first step the next will be an even further push towards socialism.

No, it doesn't. Unless you're claiming that MOST Americans live in CA and the Northeast. And they don't.

As to the other ignorant commentary: For most Americans, $100,000/year seems "rich."

I don't know who the "most Americans" you know are, but $100,000 is nowhere near rich no matter how it "seems" to you.

And by the way - consider this: Someone making $100,000 MIGHT - IF THEY ARE LUCKY - get to keep $50,000 of that after federal and state taxes, but before they pay real estate taxes, property taxes and sales tax. My mortgage payment alone costs me $15,000 a year, and my mortgage is less than $1300 a month. Many others have much higher mortgage/payments. Car payments - $435 a month and that's only because we've paid off the cars except one. That's $5220 a year. Car insurance for two adults and three kids in college - about $550 a month - $6600 a year. Three kids in college - they take out student loans but we cover what is not covered by the loans - that's $15,960 that we pay out of pocket per year just for their living expenses for the three of them, not counting utilities or food or spending money. Food - probably $8000 a year. Utilities: $4380 a year. That comes to $47,160 and I haven't even counted in anything like clothes, medical bills, dental bills, haircuts, furniture, appliances, lawn supplies, property taxes or real estate taxes or SAVINGS. Good thing we are "rich" or we'd be in trouble.

What kind of bubble do you live in? Ask somebody in New Hampshire if they think $100,000/year is "rich." Or most people anywhere in this country trying to live on $45,000/year, and raise a family.
