I mean, He had nearly $700 miliion to play with, he spent about $400 mill on attack ads and other useless junk...So what is he going to do with the other $300 million? Is he going to spread the wealth to the "less fortunate"?

Can't use money donated to him for a campaign to give to anyone else (spreading the wealth as you call it). It would be nice if people read up on these things before making ignorant comments. It's been said before and it can't be done.

No. He can give his entire balance over to the DNC or State Parties. Those organizations will in turn support Dem Candidates.

And he can give each individual Dem Candidate up to $2000.

Also. Those earning a minimum wage paycheck will see more money in their pocket not less.

So you're wrong all counts

All of the money in Obama's campaign account was voluntarily given over to him by supporters. Why would they (we) expect to see any of it back?

Do you even know how campaign contributions work? Padcrasher already explained to you how the money would be shifted to help other Democrats. Republican leftover donations are used in the same way.

Do you have a point to this thread?
