Well, I did read FedupWNY's post, and I still don't think we need to be talking about the governor of NY in this thread. I don't mean to be a harda**, and I'm not a mod, but some of these political threads get hijacked pretty fast. You can always start a thread about the governor of NY, I don't think he's immune from criticism.

I wasn't trying to hijack the thread. I was simply pointing out a fact for someones comment. Thats all.

Default Crap in Alaska

Poor Sarah

This Associated Press writer (pub on Yahoo news) says her plate is going to be full when she eventually returns to govern:

Cold realities await Gov. Sarah Palin in Alaska - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081118/ap_on_el_pr/palin - broken link)
1. State budget due in a month and plumetting oil prices is slashing Alaska's revenues.
2. The natural gas pipeline to connect to Canada is nowhere near being done
3. Troopergate, use of private email for state business, charging her kids travels and her per diems to the state...

She is going to wish she was back by that pool in Florida..

And your "fact" was incorrect. It was a former governor, not the current one.

Thread after thread to flame a former VP candidate. Whats sad and telling is that so many obsess over Palin. She is history. The repubs lost. How can anyones lives be so dull that they have nothing else to vent about.
Me?
The economy.
Barney Franks is not being held accountable.
All the pork our reps sneak into the budget.
Illegal immigration.
Possible bail out for the big 3
The war
China
I find these topics a bit more important than Mrs. Palin

Well, sure, she's not bright enough to be VP - but I'm sure she knows how to mulit-task. Anyway, is it can't be that difficult to run Alaska -- all you need is a small town, mildly educated hockey mom, right?

Ah, yes, but they're hardly as entertaining.

With everything going on in the world, and all of the troubles our country and its people are facing of late, we need all the comic relief we can get...and Sarah Palin can generally be relied upon to provide a heaping helping.
