The chilling costs of illegal migration reach like an octopus into every aspect of our lives. Illegal aliens displaced American workers at a cost in excess of $133 billion dollars last year according to Harvard Professor George Borjas. College and high school kids cannot find a summer job in yard care, landscape, fast food or service jobs.

Annually, 75 percent of drugs arrive from Mexico at a net cost of $120 billion hard currency that leaves our country for good. In addition, our tax dollars pay $80 billion for the War on Drugs each year.

When an alien criminal gets caught for rape, murder or drug distribution, you pay $1.6 billion annually in prison costs to house, feed and clothe those

average annual cost per child K-12 is $7,161.00 and exceeds $109 billion annually per cycle of anchor babies.

The average head of household illegal alien costs you $2,700.00 in welfare money over and above any taxes he or she pays in their meager paying jobs. With 15 to 20 million illegal aliens in the USA, that figures exceeds $20 billion of your tax dollars.

How about the $56 billion in pure cash illegal migrants sent to their home countries last year and every year?

BS? Not at all.

According to the Arizona State Treasurers office, for fiscal year '07, the revenue (tax) generated by Illegals (usually sales tax) amounted to about 300 million dollars. The COST to the taxpayers for things like education, housing, health care etc was 1.4 Billion dollars. Meaning a net loss to the State of Arizona of 1.1 Billion Dollars

During the past 12 months - since the beginning of the Employer Sanctions law, a significant number of illegals left the state for parts unknown.

All good things

Napolitano is a really, extremely bad pick... but there are people who are so in love with Obama, he could be the devil and they still praise him as a god... there is no sense in arguing with these people... to them Obama could do no wrong... we however see him as a simple human being making lots of mistakes.. we don't live in idol fever..

I don't consider him an idol. I can see already he is going to be 1000x better than the bozo packing his bags at the moment. Obama seems to be impressing a lot of military and political leaders as well.

I hope Bush springs for a reputable cleaner to get Barney's hair off the couch before the Obamas move in.

Any moron would be better than Bush... and Obama does make mistakes... like picking Napolitano and Clinton... that IS a mistake... people called him on it.. he may make good moves as well, Richardson was a good move, etc. etc. Problem is, Obama worshippers seem to think ALL of his picks are good... anyone that calls him on his bad move is branded as right wing nut or sore loser by an Obama fan.. that speaks volumes on whether or not Obama is their idol...

Your source for these "Obama idol worshippers" that think all his picks are good? Is this all Rush and Hannity or do you come up with your own material?

I think Napolitano is fine, she had done a good job as governor of Arizona and she had to deal with a bunch of kooks that are in the Arizona government, I lived there before and know this. I am happy with most of his picks. It makes sense to surround himself with experienced people. This is what a good leader does. As compared to Gonzalez or "Brownie", just for point of comparison. Clinton I am not thrilled about, but maybe they did it to bring the Party back together, whatever. Overall very satisfied, and I am not an idol worshipper, sorry.

They should be "illegal home-owners." Do you see the problem? If you're not going to use the term "illegal *****" consistenly, then you're buying into the right-wing rhetoric.

"Undocumented worker" or "undocumented resident" are the most descriptive and least loaded terms. What's your resistance to those terms?
What you don't like it? probably because you are one!
