This is the man that Obama embraced, treated like royalty. I guess we know Obama's plans for the US media.

And the world listens to this man when he complains about a country that per their Constitution removes a president. A president that was in violation of their law and attempting to take over his country similar to what Obama's soul brother has.

Chavez, what a wonderful example the libs have chosen.

He said in a speech to the National Assembly that cable channels with at least 70 percent of their content produced in Venezuela would begin to be regulated by local broadcast laws, which include a measure requiring all broadcasters to carry Chavez's speeches when the president deems appropriate.

Enjoy your media and your cable, Obama will be doing the same thing if we allow him to get away with it.
Control is what Obama likes and if he can get away with it you will only see and hear what he wants you to see and hear.

what a load of hogwash on your part. Obama is not Chavez's Soul brother (racist intent?) and the article doesn't even mention Obama. However your insepid hate of the President makes your Jello brains ooze with crazy conspiracy theories. Keep up the threads they are quite amusing!

Racist intent? Man that is stretching it. Soul brouther means someone with common ground, like soul mate. Obama and Chavez have much in common, especially about being on the wrong side. Live with it.

You show that you are ignorant of the politics of both Chavez and Obama. Chaves is trying to erase the appalling divide between the hidalgos (landed wealthy) and the campasinos (landless poor) of Venezuela while Obama is trying to save the capitalist gamblers of Wall Street from their own speculative excess. Personally, I support the efforts of Chavez but do not support Obama’s recovery plan. In the latter case I would have let the “market” take its losses and had the government seize the few remaining assets of the banking system and fold all of then into a new Bank of the United States in order to regulate the economy to allow for controlled growth but, by controlling lending, eliminate and speculative financial manipulations such as hedge funds, short selling, and derivatives.

Does seem BamBoy admires his big brother down there in Venezuela. Not good for us, as he's not yet had an original idea of his own. His handlers will find a way to exploit the media further you can bet on it.

I guess Obama got his ideas for a high-speed rail from Chavez. Venezuela is building one from the coast to the interior to speed transportation and communications. We are just repaving freeways. Obama should pay more attention.

Obama does not control the press in this country of Faux Noise would be SOL.

FYI, in the US radio and TV stations can lose their licenses for this reason, too.

Cabello defended the decision to revoke the licenses of 240 radio stations — nearly 40 percent of the country's stations —
because they didn't update their registration information with the National Telecommunications Commission.

I hope so,
check out this bridge that was built by his government, about 3 miles long with 4 lanes for cars and with railroad tracks in the middle (for trains in the future)
