No allowance for travel time? Making arrangements, gathering the family for the big occasion? Or are people expected to have all those things in place when the announcement is made? Three whole days! Anything important happen in those three days? Any big votes taken?

And yet we know the Senate works on weekends. Why the delay, then? Was it some twisted plot? A conspiracy? 3 days! 3 days! Something must have been afoot, Watson!

72 hours, I just want to know what was going on with the Senate during those 72 hours. And don't just say they were preparing for a Presidential inauguration and dealing with a economic crisis, either. We demand some real answers! Reason is not acceptable!

BTW, how about something to support the idea that the Dems won't seat a the certified winner of a special election in a timely manner. I think the whole poll is nothing but a strawman.
You have the option of voting the poll, or not voting the poll. It shouldn't bother you so much.
