Don't know about Miss Marple but Peter Ustinov is "the" Hercule Poirot....

The first "Miss Marple" Americans saw on the big screen was British character actress Margaret Rutherford, who played her as a feisty woman with a comic flair in a series of MGM movies made in England in the early 60s.

loved Margaret Rutherford. but Hickson was excellent too........has to be Suchet as Poirot..
