From my early teens, I've always identified quite a bit with "The Cincinnati Kid" -- the professional poker player in Richard Jessup's novel (published in the early Sixties -- not long before the emergence of the Baby Boom, and the social upheavals they spawned, but set about ten years previously); the Kid was an extremely cryptic individual -- reserved and painstakingly sharp within the limits of his genre, respectful (and respected) by the small fraternity in which he functioned -- and which, of course. is light-years removed from what has evolved thanks to Hollywood, ESPN and Madison Avenue.
Like "Mack and the boys' in Cannery Row, the Kid simply has too much of a sense of integrity to fit easily into the 9-to-5 world that surrounds him, but in the end, he's done in in by someone just a little bit sharper, and presumably ready to move a bit closer to the real world.

interesting question, and I have no idea of an answer.
Years ago I found a website listing people with similar Meyers-Briggs scores; Eeyore was the only fictional character on my list. I don't feel like an Eeyore, but you all probably think I am.

Oh, wait! I'm gonna go with Auntie Mame. Flamboyant and individualistic.
As much as she would sometimes annoy me, if I had to pick a character that I related to the most it would be Sabrina in Sabrina the Teenage Witch (starring Melissa Joan Hart) if not an exaggerated version. I mean obviously I'm not a witch but I do have an unusual mind and I often am misunderstood. I don't wish to be normal like she does though but I do wish at times I was more understood so it's a similar feeling.
She's very clumsy/ditzy and she cares a lot about doing the right thing but she does have a side to her where she doesn't take it seriously and shows up her bully (Libby). She liked two guys at once and has had plenty of crushes.
One of her best friends is a house pet (so to speak) and in school she only has a few friends that she hangs out with but most everyone is okay with her and the majority of teachers liked her. That's how I was when I went to school. I also had a Libby but her name was Tiffany.
She can also be rather hard on herself and loves to write which is why in the later seasons she was a reporter and then a journalist for a magazine.
Finally she had a period where she settled for someone when she really wanted to be with someone else.
I definitely never had a Roxie in my life though but I wish I did.
I had someone who was sortof a Miles in my life though I ended up falling for him.
I'm like a cross between (female version of) Seth Rogen's character in "Pineapple Express" and Grace from "Will and Grace" - just not as skinny, lol.
