yeah, i play in allot of 8-ball,9-ball and 10-ball tournament and I am also competing in the Artistic Cup IV this year. Thanks for the compliment, I'm glad you liked it.
OMG that is NUTS! I watched that whole first video with my jaw on the floor. I don't know if this is like a trick shot person's secret but how in the hell does the cue ball go in one direction and just all of a sudden without hitting a way do a complete swerve around into a different direction, as if the pool table was tilted at a severe angle. Every time I saw that I just laughed in amazement. As you might be able to tell that is the first time I have ever seen anything like that (trick shots).
Thank you for posting these - they're wonderful and you're so smart to set the thread up this way (title, order of videos). Good music, too. Gotta go watch these again. Come back and tell us more - or at least post more!
On my bucket list are: learn to play 8-ball, learn to play 9-ball, learn to do at least one trick shot in pool. Looks like I better get started!
thank you both for the nice comments. JohKnip, in order to make the ball change directions there must be allot of spin on the ball. In fact the ball is spinning in the same direction the entire duration of the shot. It is merely skidding in one direction until momentum and friction take hold and then with the aid of the spin the ball changes its path. It's hard to control and takes allot of practice. I am working on a new one soon to showcase a Masse cue that was custom made for me. So check back in a few weeks, The next video will make this one look simple by comparison.
@ Toosie; If you really want to learn some trick shots go to youtube and look up cdtrickshot. I have a couple trick shot tutorials I am doing that will be used on a online store wesite in the near future.
