Despite being a huge fan of Juventus Torino, I think Genova is the nicer city of the two, with lots of beautiful old buildings, churches, parks, etc to behold. Also, it's situated at the Mediterranean Sea, which is a huge plus in my book (I love the sea). You should once check out the movie "Genova" with Colin Firth, by the way.
