Gun laws in the Czech Republic are in many respects less restrictive than elsewhere in the European Union

Lol funny that I was thinking of the exactly opposite, that these eastern and central European countries are the least free, meanwhile the most are Scandinavian countries

Switzerland is the free-ist of European countries in that regard. But as to emigration it would be the most difficult place to move to. If you are retired with a decent pension you can move to any eastern european country you like.
I live in Andorra where the locals tell me it's easy to get a gun. They make it sound as though you just walk into a shop and buy one. But I don't know if freedom of speech is the same.

Most likely. These hillbillies/redneck/militia "freedom fighters", have ruined Americas reputation with gun toting and Bible in the back pocket style of communication in the eyes of Europe.
