As far are freedom of speech and gun laws? Specifically Eastern Europe, most interested in the baltic countries,Poland,Austria,Italy and Hungary. Places that are trying to save themselves from oblivion. Also anyone how hard it would be to emigrate to these countries and eventually become a citizen?

Gun laws in the Czech Republic are in many respects less restrictive than elsewhere in the European Union

In terms of free speech, most European countries (47 signtories in all) adhere to the European Convention on Human Rights, with Article 10 relating to freedom of expression.

Lol funny that I was thinking of the exactly opposite, that these eastern and central European countries are the least free, meanwhile the most are Scandinavian countries

But then I read your username and everything is understood, well we definitely have a very different perception of what is freedom

Switzerland is the free-ist of European countries in that regard. But as to emigration it would be the most difficult place to move to. If you are retired with a decent pension you can move to any eastern european country you like.

I live in Andorra where the locals tell me it's easy to get a gun. They make it sound as though you just walk into a shop and buy one. But I don't know if freedom of speech is the same.

I've been researching alternatives a bit lately (I can't help myself!) and as I understand it, Montenegro seems to be a good place to live, "free" as far as you describe it with high gun ownership, despite being peaceful.

Press freedom may be another issue, but I don't know if that counts as freedom of speech to you?
