I don't plan to stay long. I want to go to the main event. Where Obama and others will be speaking. So that must be on June 6th. I know they have all kinds of events there spanning a couple of weeks.
They must have surviving D-day soldiers visiting, too. I want to see that as well.
I can't really pin down the date or the exact location.
I think too many people wanted to attend, to they can come by invitation only. The organizers needed to set up priorities: officials and guests, veterans and their families, veteran organizations and public by invitation only. The rest needs a pass to attend.

Complete and send it to the address also on the same website.
Try to call French Embassy and see what they know.
The invitations are not for the general public. Question is how much can you see when you go. After looking into it, my guess is not much and it's not worth going at all.
