Yes, I remember your earlier post. Important point.

Going off tangent here, but after looking at the growth rates of some Russian cities I just had to ask what is attracting this growth?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o..._by_population

City: 2017 | 2010 | Change
Tyumen: 744,554 | 581,907 | +27.95% (+162,647)
Krasnodar: 881,476 | 744,995 | +18.32% (+136,481)
Voronezh: 1,039,801 | 889,680 | +16.87% (+150,121)
Krasnoyarsk: 1,082,933 | 973,826 | +11.20% (+109,107)

For comparison the fastest growing major cities in the US are Austin, Texas and Seattle Washington(2010-2016).
Austin: 947,890| 790,390 | +19.93% (+157,500)
Seattle: 704,352 | 608,660 | +15.72% (+95,692)

I understand Tyumen, since it's surrounded by oil and gas fields, and Krasnodar is the warmest major city in Russia, but what's attracting all the people to Voronezh and Krasnoyarsk? Are these attractive rich booming cities? They are growing faster then Yekaterinburg (+7.83%) and Moscow (+6.30%), though by numbers, Moscow does win adding 725,184 people, but that's only cause it's so freaking huge!!

Well Russia's Urban population in 2015 made up 74% of the population, and Russia's population in 2015 was 144.10 million so there is a potential of 37,466,000 rural people to move into cities. But still I was wondering why Voronezh and Krasnoyarsk were attracting so many people? Also the fastest growing city in Russia is a Moscow Suburb

Blashikha: 450,771 | 215,494 | +109.18% (+235,277)

in comparison the fastest growing city in the US is a Houston suburb

Conroe: 82,286 | 56,207 | +46.4% (+26,079)

How about not in existence to begin with?

Russia and the US (NATO) need to update the INF treaty. Were I Russia I'd be building nuclear capable cruise missiles like mad considering who I was dealing with.

According to western strategic planners nuclear cruise missiles are the only way to take out Russias extensive and 1st class air defense system. With Americas capabilities in Europe the threat is real.

Sad and pathetic situation. it could have been prevented long ago but the West chose another course.

If you'd understand the lyrics, you'd like it twice as much.
They are weird in a clever and funny way, I was going like listening to it, so I couldn't even appreciate the music.
I have NO IDEA where Maxim is finding all this stuff.
He must have his own special secret places)))

Krasnoyarsk is definitely growing due to central asians migrating there. Its on my list of must see places. Chekhov put it on his list so its on mine too.

Voronezh no idea but it is in a region with many rural/farming towns so it could be good old fashioned rural migration.
