[A Romania Thread] - How would you rank TIMISOARA with CLUJ & BRASOV?
...and why?
This is a bit tough, as I doubt few have been to all 3. But we could do this based on which one you are most interested in, secondly, and lastly, etc. as well.
Brașov. Is not as big as the other two, but buildings are older, much medieval architecture (including preserved long sectors of city walls) and the most important: the mountains and forests starting from city limits. I mean, the best part of Romanian mountains are next to it: Bucegi and Piatra Craiului ranges, as well as the amazing Postăvaru (this one starts right from the last streets), Piatra Mare and further the amazing wilderness of Făgăraș Mountains. In Brașov County alone there are 500 or more bears. Plus a ton of old villages with large peasant castles and many other amazing things in nearbies.
There is no term of comparison. If I give to Cluj and Timișoara note 5, to Brașov I would give 9.
