Saint Petersburg as it's a more cosmopolitan city, is larger and it has a really stunning architecture. It has the disadvantage of being located in Russia though.
Bilbao; I like the Basque country, and living in Italy seems pretty difficult right now (I guess Spain does as well though....)
Copenhagen or Berlin?
Copenhagen, never been a big fan of Berlin, it looks quite sterile, cold and too modern for my likings. The economy and uneployment is also far better in Copenhagen
