I agree with the decision it's good day for Portuguese society. I however don't think it will be a worldwide norm a huge amount of ignorance and hatred still exists in many parts of the world much of it fueled by religion.
Portugal's parliament passed a law making legal for same-sex couple to adopt children. Do you feel this is now going to be a world wide norm?
A world wide norm in a short-time no but in western countries it already is.
