We all know Europe is facing an economic slowdown...What cities are still striving despite the economic cooldown? In other words, what cities are economically "bullet-proof"

London is the obvious #1, followed by Paris, probably Frankfurt or Hamburg, then Rotterdam, after that...... all are vulnerable.

London and Paris are no brainer. But Barcelona? I know it is one of the most popular destination, so tourism plays a big role of course. But other than that what is Barcelona's economic strength?

You gotta preserve the important ports, to facilitate trade, otherwise the whole show is kaput. That's why I had Hamburg and Rotterdam. Maybe I should have said Felixstowe instead of London, but there are lots of other UK ports, only one London. None of your cities qualify in my book.

ALL cities are vulnerable places, resources including food and water have to be brought into cities and sewage and waste have to be taken out of the cities, if any of this were to stop happening cities would be hell on earth to live in.

It's not like the economy has been any more stable previously. Say in the last 200 years or so.
