"This GTB is also equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, and although a standard feature, most customers opted for the latest F1-style sequential electronic gearbox, making the manual gate-shift transmission extremely rare. Only 20 such examples were delivered to the United States."
That is about 3 times the price of 599 with the F1 gearbox.
something had to be up with that auction, you can find 6 spd cars online for 150K.....
Are they really 6 speed manuals? I just looked all over autotrader and DuPont registry, tons said 6 speed on autotrader, but all were 6 speed F1. I didn't find one manual on either sites.

This. If only 20 of them came to the US, the chances of finding one are slim to none. Still can't believe that the auction went so high though.

I have seen them in the past, none currently listed. 2007-2009 you could get a 6 spd box with the gated shifter. I would want the manual with the polished monolithic wheels

I wonder if Ferrari only built 20 manuals because they needed to sell the 6spd F1 to recoup its costs, or only 20 people wanted manuals?
The car sold is going to make the car you want harder to get.
Really it sounds like the guy was an idiot who didn't do the obvious research on the car before he bought it. It's terrible what Miller Motorcars did knowing they were going to make a huge profit, but why would they have to tell the guy what they're plans were for? Sounds like a good short term profit, but bad long term investment (bad PR)
