I may have to start wearing suits again, not my favorite thing. I work in a creative industry so I have a lot more leeway in terms of personal style.

This suit looks cool to me... BUT I don't want to seem like I am "trying too hard." So what do you think of this, yea or nay?

Now that I think about it, I'll take male opinions too!

Yeah, if you have to wear a suit at least that one doesn't look like a knock-off of a man's suit. It's sexy but not too sexy for an office, and it makes the statement that you like being pretty. Go for it. Don't forget good shoes with it. I'd probably match shirt color unless you wear a white shirt, but that's just me...I'm not a conservative black pump woman.

model looks anorexic~ way too skinny for my tastes~ also shoes look like torture devices and will cripple you. If this is the fashion I guess I like unfashionable ladies.

Yes I hate those boxy, mannish suits. Of course I have several in my closet which I drag out for job interviews! But if I am going to wear them regularly, I'd like to find some suits I can wear out to socialize at night, something with a sense of style.

I'm the same as you with shoes... I don't even own a pair of pumps, haven't in over 15 years. Bleh!!!

I loved it. I'm in a suit almost every day. NYC, the way the suit is made, you gotta have the azz for it.

If you don't I will. Just tell me, which store.

Well, it is not something I would wear to work. But it will make a statement, if that is what you want to do. I don't know your line of work, which makes a difference, but you do live in NYC, so I think anything should go there. I love watching tv lawyers, or tv cops, or tv anything,,,and the clothes they were to "work". At my job, I often work from 6am to sometimes as late as 9pm. I can't afford dry cleaning. So, I wear a skirt or pants to work, with a shirt, and have a jacket if I need to "dress" up for something.

No store, I found it in a catalog, Venus. I bought a swimsuit from them, which put me on their mailing list. I didn't even know they make clothes, and the price is very reasonable!

And hell yeah I have the caboose for it! Lots of squats have kept it up!

I'm surprised at how reasonably priced it is. It looks much more expensive.

I know! I wonder if the fabric will feel cheap. I think it's worth a chance because I know this company does not buy from apparel distributors; they design in-house and buy direct from factories who manufacture for them. In theory this should mean everything is much less expensive because there aren't any middle men.

They have a lot of cute dresses that are quite inexpensive too... I've seen things I like for $35-40! If I do order from them, I'll report back about the quality.
