What is a good place online to find some of this or popular store?
Has anyone used it for the body?
What other uses does it have?

I get a lot of water retention and read online that using dead sea salt soaks and rubs help alleviate it.

Salt is salt--I can't see where it's origin would make any difference at all! Salt does make a nice "scrub", but it can irritate the skin--I find it very drying. There are so many nice exfoliating/moisturizing scrubs on the market--salt is not one of my 1st choices!

Salt is not just salt.
"The Dead Sea's mineral composition differs from that of ocean water, varying with season, rainfall, depth, and temperature. In particular, the salt in most oceans is approximately 97% sodium chloride while Dead Sea salt is only 12-18% sodium chloride and has vastly greater concentrations of other salts. "

I have bought from these guys:

Now I just get it local though.

But they also have the uses posted:

Default Bath Salts

Dead Sea salts carry many benefits, particularly when used as bath salts. Dead Sea salts effectively treat many skin conditions, including from rashes and psoriasis to more everyday conditions such as oily or dry skin. Dead Sea salts are also known to soothe rashes, calm allergic reactions, minimize dandruff and treat acne. Dead Sea salts have been known to improve the appearance of cellulite, manage the appearance of swelling due to water retention, and even treat hair loss. In addition, Dead Sea salts detoxify your skin, drawing out dirt, pollutants and impurities from each pore.

Gal at a mall kiosk hijacked me a few weeks ago to try and sell me on her Dead Sea Salt beauty regimen ("Half off" her usual price, too! Oooh!). She did a trial of the scrub on my hands. Can't say it felt remarkably different than any other scrub. I know, I know, if I shelled out the $150 for the teensy little jars and used it religiously for the two weeks it would last (if that), I'd obviously see TREMENDOUS benefits .

Whatever. I'm a skeptic. And not gonna spend my $$$ in that way. Plus, my skin is great already.
