Hey guys, I kind of wanna start finding new clothes for myself since I don't want to keep wearing T-shirts and jeans for the rest of my life. I love the preppy look, but I don't know where to get them for a bargain. I mean a polo shirt for 80 bucks is a lot in my book. I love Ralph Lauren, Calvin Kelin and stuff like that (Brand names). Help?

Old Navy has decent clothes that are frequently on sale.

Go to outlet stores. You might be able to pick up CK and RL Polo shirts for under $40. They won't be the exact same quality as normal Polos, but they are pretty close.

I'd avoid Old Navy... that's kind of a wear once, throw away store... except for t shirts.

I go to the Goodwill store. I buy many brand name clothes for $4. Otherwise, I go to Kohls.

Not quite accurate. A Polo Ralph Lauren (blue label) shirt for $29.99 from TJ Maxx, $39.99 from the RL outlet, or $65 from a department store will be exactly the same quality. You just have to make sure it is not the diffusion line (Lauren by Ralph Lauren)

Brooks Brothers Factory stores - not 2nd quality stuff, just maybe last season's releases. I just bought 3 of their awesome no-iron button downs for $30/ea. That's a steal!

Try TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. Polo stuff is nice, I try to stay away from the CK stuff as it is a bit too trendy for me.

Land's End is pretty reasonable and often has free shipping deals. It's almost all preppy/boomer wear.
