not too short,as it does nothing for bigger features on your face , Id say plenty of bounce, not a flat style.

Not too short and close to the head and not too boufant (sp?) either. Depending on your face shape, features, and hair texture, some variation of mid to shoulder length, perhaps a bit below shoulder with whispy bangs. A really good hairdresser can advise you, too.

Do you trust your hairdresser? If you don't, start noticing other women's haircuts and when you find ones you love, ask who cuts their hair. A good hairdresser can take almost any hair style you like and modify it to look great on you. But that takes talent....

I have a big head and some larger features and I have hair to the middle of my back. I also try and add body.

If you have a big face, you should cut layers in it. Do not wear it in a way that hangs flat or lays slick on your head.

Also, no heavy bangs.
