I don't think that's a tattoo...but, yeah, it would turn into a weeping willow.

I agree. Does look like a painting done for the picture. I think its really nice. When I was pregnant with my kids a million years ago, people weren't taking 'pregnancy' pictures.

Seems to be a concensus of opinion about it NOT being a tat.
This tree with curlicue branches seems to be a theme/trend these days women/expectant mothers are choosing for their nurseries.
I've seen several examples recently. Apparently, it is easy to copy/ reproduce without having to have artistic talent.
A close friend of mine has a wife who just had a baby and chose/did the same type of tree on the wall of their son's room.

Off topic, but I love Weeping Willows.

It is very pretty but I hope it is either body paint or Henna

It wouldn't be a weeping willow at all!

If it were a tattoo - the branches would contract: shorter, narrower, and darker. It is already stretched, think of writing on a balloon and then letting the air out.

It does make for a memorable photo - doesn't it?

I wish I had been able to get one done but I was in the hospital for the lst five months of pregnancy and delivered early to boot...

I think the picture would be better without the paint, I find it distracting.

Yeah, I can't look at it because there's too much going on with the paint "tattoo".
