Yes there are certainly black women that are bothered by interracial dating. There are PEOPLE in general that are bothered by it. .
Very true. White women are just as bothered maybe even moreso. There are white male celebrities who had to stop dating their black girlfriends or who have to keep their black girlfriends/wives lowkey because of all the hate mail/tweets/emails from white women.
The reason these threads turn into some men criticizing Black women is because users who have shown open opposition to interracial dating both online and in my experience real life have been mainly Black women and some White men.
I've seen the most from white women and black men. Black men get angry when men of other races date their black women. And white women say some of the most racist things when a white man dates a black woman. Some white women seem to even hate black men with black women.
Been reading thread for last few pages. I am a Latino (Brazilian) who could pass for a very light skin black person, get told I look like pornstar Carlo Carrera a lot (google at your own risk lol). The angry subset of Black women that people are talking about on this thread do definitely exist and most have an axe to grind against White women. Like some kind of an us vs them mentality and most have it in their minds that any male who is a minority should prefer a Black woman over a White woman.
That's not true. No black woman that I know is worried about men of other races. Now, they do feel that black men should be with black women, though.
I am sorry you have to go through that as a Black woman but I have just noticed some of the posters who happen to be Black women just oppose the idea of a male from any minority group dating a White female. Look at how so many have said repeatedly that White women hate Asian men and complained about men preferring White women. I don't believe it is right to judge any person based on ethnicity alone and most stereotypes that apply personality traits to an ethnic group are false and wrong anyways.
Friends in your circle might not care about who is dating who but from my own experience there are some younger Black women who hate it when a man from a minority group (not just black men) goes after a White woman, states his preference for white women, or dates a White woman. I also said this isn't just exclusive to Black women either, society in general doesn't like the idea of a latino or asian male dating a White female that happens to be attractive.
I am just bothered by everyone being so judgmental of guys who prefer white women but if a white guy was to state his preference for black girls, latin, or asian girls no one would even care.
Black women could care less about other races dating white women. In general, black women prefer black men.
btw- How do you know for sure that these posters online are black women? They could actually be white.
I said "...man who only likes the Caucasian phenotype...." If you are talking about a man who does not only like the Caucasian phenotype, then you're talking about a different kind of man from what I was discussing.
And in my discussions with light skinned black women, I've met many who discovered that a percentage of the black men who showed interest in them actually wanted white skin...but were "settling."
I doubt they're "settling." Apparently, they didn't want white skin enough. If a black man actually wanted a white woman, they could easily get one. Clearly, they're not that interested.
Interestingly enough, there are white men who settle for white women who have dark hair, dark eyes, and olive skin. Some of them may want a black woman.
btw -- The so-called Caucasion phenotype is actually the east african phenotype.
Yes, I have noticed that once a white man gets over the basic race issue, skin color appears not to be a factor. If a white man is only interested in light skin, he'll stick with white women.
But a light skin black woman is not the same as a white women. If a white man likes a light skin black woman, he likes black women. Black women come in all shades.
I don't think that is the case. I have friends of all shades, and there are certain men who only want women who look a certain way, because they've been brainwashed into thinking women lighter than a certain tone are better, classer, and a host of positive attributes. We have a huge color problem in the US, and it manifests itself in many ways.
That's not true. From the black men (and I know many, many, many black men) that I know and many black celebrities, most of them are not with a light skin black woman.
Black men are with dark skin black women. Black men are with brown skin black women, and black men are with light skin black women. If anything, most black seem to be with brown skin black women.
Whites have brainwashed the world into believing they are the best and most desirable. They have also caused colorism in races by constantly touting lighter skin as "better". That's why you have the whole lightskin dark-skinned thing with Blacks.
