I have finally figured out the easiest way to get this type hosiery on my leg after my physician suggested I give them a try. Unless I keep my feet propped up, my feet swell and if I'm wearing these compression hose, they don't. The compression part has been so difficult to put my foot into, but just recently decided to try another method and it's better. Putting my foot in nearly at the top of the knee-highs and just pulling to put it farther in until my foot reaches the foot of the hose. Voilà ! I've been making it far more difficult than it needs to be. If anyone knows an even better way, please tell me.
